*Thailand removes Grand Theft Auto IV off store shelves after teenager robs and stabs cab driver - Teenage cab driver killer claims he was recreating a scene from the game. Thai government sends requests to all outlets and shops to pull the game off their shelves and replace them with other titles. *World of Warcraft's Recruit-A-Friend Goes Live - Blizzard kicks off its new "Recruit-A-Friend" initiative, where WoW players receive rewards based on how long they get someone new to sign up for WoW. If a WoW player gets his friend to sign up for 30 days, the WoW player recieves 30 days for free. If he gets his friend to sign up for 60 days, that person recives the "Zhevra", a new mount. Blizzard also announced that for every two levels of experience your friend earns, they are able to grant one level of experience to any one of your characters of lower level. [GOD DAMN]
*Space Combat Simulators on the PC are Still being Made (YES!) - Dark Horizon, a PC Space Combat Simulator, actualy exists. Dark Horizon is a space combat adventure where the player fights for survival through 22 missions of space combat. The title is laced with RPG elements such as original weapon and equipment creation, several modes of combat and advanced ship customization. Dark Horizon also offers joystick support.
